Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent (Silver Gray), two swords saltirewise Sable and a double warded key bow to base Or; overall a lozenge fesswise Azure bearing a powder horn Argent. Attached at sides and base a black bipartite scroll inscribed "PAY ENSURED" and "FIT TO FIGHT" in silver.

Symbolism
Silver gray and golden yellow are the colors traditionally used by Finance units. Gold is emblematic of high achievement and excellence; black denotes solvency. The diamond is adapted from the Finance Corps insignia of branch. Blue is from the Massachusetts state flag, while the powder horn represents the state's Revolutionary War heritage. The key, a symbol of security, reflects the unit's motto; the swords highlight combat readiness and teamwork and also reflect the motto.
